| HIGH ALERT: Mars Quarantine Breach Master Inquisitors, It is with the greatest trepidation and anger that I report an unthinkable act. Approximately seven Solar hours ago, the quarantine here on Mars was breached. A small force of Adeptus Mechanicus Servitors, following members of that cult, attacked and destroyed the garrison of Deathwatch Space Marines and callously murdered Inquisitor Marecius. Their motivations are, at this moment, unclear. Recordings of the attack show a chillingly fanatical assault, almost on par with our loyal flagellants within the Ecclesiarchy, and cries of blessing to the 'Machine God' came numerous times. All indications from the recordings show the Adeptus Mechanicus forces moving in on the quarantined subject, then leaving the area eighty-four minutes later. Behind then moved a large black sphere, obscuring any attempts to see what was within. Later visits to the quarantined subject show several crew missing. Footprints consistent with those of the quarantined creatures are seen heading toward Hive Alpha 1/7. I regret to report that our quarry has managed to escape.
