| Pariahs and the Necrontyr My Lords, In my studies of the Necrontyr I have seen many amazing things, and learned some very surprising and horrifying secrets revealed. I think my research has stumbled upon yet another of those dark secrets. We are all aware of the Pariahs and their effect on other creatures, especially psykers. These abnormal creatures have long been thought to be a freak of nature, genetics gone wild, a mutation without cause. It appears now that this is not even close to the truth. Within the Necrontyr ranks we have recently witnessed a new warrior drone. This drone was dubbed, eerily enough, the Pariah. Necrontyr Pariahs seem to emit a null-warp field around them, inducing the same effects on living creatures that human Pariahs do. It is entirely possible this is just a coincidence, but I do not think so. Examination of the Necrontyr Pariahs has shown that they are modified heavily to generate this null-warp field, but this is not simple a mechanical construct. Each Pariah has a small amount of bioware, biologically-based equipment, installed within their 'heads'. Samples of this bioware have been tested, and through rigorous testing we have been able to view its DNA structures. It appears that it uses a standard double-helix, but two connections within the helix are twisted into an unrecognizable shape. Human Pariahs examined have also had their DNA structure examined. It came as a shock to me that the very same phenomenon occurred within the double helix of their DNA as well. It could be put down to Necrontyr borrowing biological material from the human Pariahs, but Necrontyr Pariahs have been found in a few pyramids still in stasis, meaning they were created well before the current era. Strangely enough, though, these stasis chambers appear to be of a different design to other chambers, newer and smaller. My best estimate is that somehow they were placed within these chambers ten to twenty millennia ago. I am unsure as to how they came to be placed in stasis later, unless some of the Necrontyr awoke many millennia in the past and created the Pariahs. It is for this reason that I am certain the Pariahs walking among us are the creation of the Necrontyr.
