SPACE MARINE PSYCHIC POWERS

The following is a selection of Space Marine psychic powers from Warhammer 40,000 2nd Edition converted over to 3rd Edition.  Since Space Marine Librarians are only allowed to use one power in the new 40K, you may only choose one of the following powers for your Librarian.

Smite:  Use the rulebook power, or the one in Codex: Space Marines.

Storm of Destruction:  Use the rulebook power, or the one in Codex: Space Wolves.

Quickening:  Use the rules presented in Codex: Blood Angels.

Lightning Arc:  The Librarian fires a blast of lightning at his target.  This takes the place of firing a normal weapon.   The attack has a Range of 24", and has a Strength of 5 and AP 4.  It counts as being Assault 3 (ie, three shots that may be fired after moving).

Strength of Mind:  The psyker may nullify any psychic power in effect within 6" of himself.  This power may used in your opponent's turn to attempt to nullify one power being cast on a target within 6" of the Librarian.

Psychic Shield:  The Librarian creates a field of psychic energy around himself, giving himself a 5+ inv. save for the duration of the turn.

Prescience:  The Librarian may re-roll one roll that affects him throughout the rest of the turn.

Displacement:  One squad or character within 18" can be moved up to 12" in any direction.
